Vacation & Retreat Information for Pastors
The following list is the "top ten" websites for free or reduced price vacation and retreats for pastors and staff in full-time ministry. Check websites for details.

Allison Ranch Wilderness Retreat for Christian Workers, Idaho. www.replace.com/allison. Retreat is located on the Salmon River in the Idaho wilderness. Guest arrive at the ranch via chartered plane. Cost is $200 for 4-night stay which includes lodging, meals and charter plane to the site.
Beside Still Waters, Anna Maria Island, FL. www.beside-stillwaters.org. Townhouses located on Anna Maria Island, FL, about an hour south of Tampa near Bradenton. BSW offers a place for God's servants to come and stay, free of charge for one to two weeks.
Canaan Land Christian Retreat, Lake Toxaway, NC. www.canaanlandchristianretreat.org. Canaan Land offers one-week vacations from spring to autumn to full-time Christian workers of the Baptist faith and their immediate families at no charge. These are cabin-like rustic cottages so plan on bringing everything you may need.
Christian Hospitality Network, various locations. www.christianhospitalitynetwork.org. A network of bed and breakfasts that offers discount lodging to full-time Christian workers. Member inns can be contact directly to find out about special rates available during mid-week and off-seasons.
Deer Ridge Ministries, Freeport, IL. www.deerridgeministries.org. This ministry offers a Sabbath rest, self-directed study retreat for full-time pastors and their spouses. Room, food, linens and towels are furnished at no cost to pastors and their spouses.
Fairhaven Ministries, Roan Mountain, Tennessee. www.fairhavenministries.net. Individual chalets are situated on 100 acres of high-altitude land surrounded by forest. Each chalet cost $30 per night.
Hospitality Homes, US, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Africa. www.hospitalityhomes.org. This is a network of homes offering Christian workers a place to rest and be refreshed. The cost is listed under "register to stay . . . " The fee goes to Hospitality Homes to cover their fees for overseeing this ministry. Those who own the places receive nothting because they want to minister to others in this way. Processing fee is $55 total for 2-3 nights or $95 total for 4-7 nights.
Pastors Retreat Network, Wisconsin, California, Texas, Ohio, Tennessee. www.pastorsretreatnetwork.org. A fee is charged, however scholarships may be available; check website for details.
Rancho Mira Sol (Sunflower Ranch), Durango, Colorado. www.rockymountainrenewal. A 500-acre ranch that provides a vacation place for pastors and missionaries free of charge. You are responsible for your own meals and asked to leave the place clean and ready for the next guests.
Shepherds' Haven of Rest Ministries. www.shorministries.com. Retreat for ministry full-time or bi-vocational couples on a first-come, first-serve basis. All meals and accommodations are at no charge. See locations and application via website.
The Parsonage, multiple locations in most states. www.parsonage.org. This is the Focus on the Family website for pastors. Once you are on the home page click on "Pastoral Caregiving Ministries" on the right side of the page. Once the new webpage comes up click on "Reflection & Relaxation Providers."
